GMAT - Test Format

The GMAT, or Graduate Management Admission Test, is required for admission to Graduate Business schools and related programs throughout the world.

It is considered to be a highly reliable indication of an applicant’s potential performance in an MBA program. The standardized examination is administered by computer (computer-adaptive testing) and measures quantitative, analytical and writing skills. The GMAT does not test any specific business knowledge or competence.

The GMAT test consists of 3 sections:


The GMAT test in Israel is given as a C.A.T. (Computer Adaptive Test).
The scores for the Verbal and Math sections are obtained immediately upon finishing the test. The scores are reported to designated schools 3-4 weeks after the test date.
The GMAT test is given in Tel Aviv twice a week. The GMAT test may be taken once every (calendar) month up to 6 times a year.
